Angel's First - Group and Outdoor Photo Shoot ( with KLPJ Photography Club )

After staying in a nut shell for so long, I finally decided to go OUT for photoshoots! Here's my first one. I talked to Kelvin and he organized the whole thing. There were 4 and a half photographers and shoot took place at the park at Bukit Jalil. So without further ado, here's everything!

The shoot was only 3 hours but it was so much fun! I learned a lot of things from the awesome photographers and I feel more appreciative over photography now. And also, I got over my fear of nature. Yes, I'm scared of nature, wet dirt, leaves and bugs. I sat on weird logs and roots, met mosquitoes as big as 50 cent coins which sucked my blood like vampires, then picked up and used a scary leaf. So, a big fat thank you for helping me get rid of my fear!

Angel during Parkamaya Brand Ambassador Search 2014

About a month ago 

I came across this event  Parkamaya's  page I  Parkamaya so I entered myself in it They asked for  photo but I got over dedicated  then

That was my entry 

 told me that I was shortlisted  had to go over for an interview I was super excited  surprisingly   was supportive of it too  so I went for it

It was fun  but I had to rush back to college after the interview Now all I had to do was wait for a call from them to know if I made it to top 

I got a call  I'm in top 10! 
And the top 10 finalists have to go for a photo shoot

Since the day I've become into makeup  I'd never let anyone do my makeup Besides myself of courseso today is the first time in  years

 I'm really nervous about getting my makeup done  because I know my flaws  I feel like I'm the only one who knows how to handle my problem  But the makeup was alright  and I even got to make new friends

The photo shoot's theme was          It was awesome  Despite the fact that Ru was waiting all alone for me downstairs  I got to partner with Xiao Xiao for the photo shoot  even got to try out weird poses

There's going to be a fashion show for the finalists in  days But for today  I'm going back to Parkamaya for a fitting for the photo shoot As usual I reached there earlier than I had to so I went to  to get some stuff with Ru

We were there before the shops were opened  So I took dozens of selfies in front of Sephora

Later on  I went for  with Ru  Bijyo Cosme 3 is available  the arcade in Parkamaya 

We still had time even after taking Purikura  So we went walking around in Parkamaya  

I was walking around with him  I was like  I found a few items that I wore during the photo shoot too I found

I woke up   to conceal the scars on my legs  pack up some stuff that I was going to bring Specifically talking about my pastel wig  accessories  I took a box that seemed to be empty to put my accessories in  I looked in the box and saw a   I found my long lost favourite necklace

I knew today was going to be awesome

I had to reach Parkamaya by   but Ru  I reached    We had a lot of time so I painted my nails before going up  And before anything starts  We walked around in Parkamaya again 

Today  I found the black berret, pink heart purse  blue blouseIt was strangely satisfying to see the pieces  

We got our hair  makeup done by Aery JoThen  We practiced our cat walk  I tripped over myself while trying to skip in my shoes  which are  size bigger than my foot size    I have a hole in my left knee I don't mean just the socks, my skin was ripped out Luckily, I hadn't put on my black sock that time 

 It didn't hurt until I was removing my sock at home 

We chatted  got to know each other more In the meantime  my bodyguard was just wandering around  There were selfies  wefies taken so I'll share them here

We only had time to take bunch photos before our first walk  Because we had to change insanely fast to make it for the next walk  interview Luckily  I didn't trip  fall  

During the interview  We have to tell our name, age, height, which celebrity we think we're like  why do we want to be Parkamaya's brand ambassador I said    because of a lot of reasons  True enough  this happened a few days after the contest 

After the cat walks  interviews  it was time for the prize presentation ceremony

Before anything was announced

The emcee handed gave us our best shot we took during the photo shoot

Then, our names were called  by  accordingly

 Whoever's name was called has to step forward 

We knew something was going on when he started skipping names

He skipped              's name

Then he announced that the  girls won the consolation prize

At that moment  We knew we were top 

I'd never expect myself to go this far 

was announced as the nd runner up
He won  shopping vouchers  Parkamaya
 also year free subscription to hot magazine

And now it was down to me  Xiao Xiao 

You can see the happiness in our faces 

And by looking  the next photos can you predict what happened

 we're nervous

Then Xiao Xiao was called

I thought she was the champion 

And my face was like 

Angel logic

 When it's down to top  the first person who's called comes in first place 

But then 

It was Xiao Xiao who was the first runner up
She got  shopping vouchers  Parkamaya
 also year free subscription to hot magazine

Which means that I got first

It must have been that necklace 
I feel like the luckiest girl in the world

 also year free subscription to hot magazine

 

I didn't even expect myself to be in top 

So I was so happy that I almost cried 

But I've trained myself not to cry with makeup on 

So it's only natural that I don't cry with makeup on

THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!

So congrats to everyone

We already won as long as we're in top 

And last but not least 
A photo with my loved ones
I wish my grandma was here
She's alive  Son't worry 
But it'd be fun if she was here  Because she was a model

 But before the purikura I had a change 

I got my pastel mane on  I feel so much more awesome with it

My family was shopping with me together 

 But Ru was very tired even before the fashion show started

So he sat  f block while I go crazy buying the stuff I've always wanted 

At the end of the day

I spent  in Parkamaya

As for the other 

I'm saving it up for next time

 Now that I'm a brand ambassador 

I have a really good reason to visit Parkamaya all the time

You're the reason why this competition is the bomb! And also special thanks to Xiao Xiao for the awesome time in the photo shoot. It was so much fun and I hope we get to be partners again in future photo shoots! I can't leave out Moon from my thank you list. You did an awesome job on both the makeup looks during the photo shoot. Thank you for making me pretty!

Thank you to my girlfriends from my college. You're very supportive and you have been asking me about the fashion show even before it started. You girls are so cute ! And also, thank you Susan for giving me a long prep talk the day before the fashion show!

Thank you to Lee Kheng San for giving me a chance to shoot with you. I started my journey in modelling with you so thank you! And thank you to Michelle for inviting me to join SEED magazine as their model. I've only started modelling 2 months ago but non of this would've been possible without you guys.

Last but not least, thank you to the best boyfriend ever, Ru. You've been there for me since the very beginning. You were there with me during the audition, the photo shoot, the fashion show, the shopping spree and you also brought me out to go buy stuff that I needed to become Parkamaya's brand ambassador. I can't thank you enough for what you've done for me and I couldn't have done this without your love and support.
