Angel during Bon Odori 2015

It's Bon Odori again! But before the day of the event, I was debating with myself whether I should wear my mini Yukata. I know it's considered disrespectful in a way to wear a mini Yukata, but I was told that there were rules to get around it... But in the end, I settled for fairy inspired Mori-kei and I was really happy with the look!

This year, I'm going with Ru, my sisters and Yen Nong, Alice's friend. We were very lucky to have found a parking spot near the entrance this year, but the down side was that it was raining when we got there.

Car wefie with Alice!

We got in the field and immediately looked for food! In the midst of dinner hunting, we even saw Ru's friends. The rain stopped just when we finished our food shopping. Then, Ru and  I met up with Kean Heng where he took a photo of me before we headed back to find Alice at the stairs.

After finding a place to finally sit down, we took some wefies to pass the time. Then, it started raining again... Ru made a temporarily dry seat with the fan and I sat on him. #BestChairEver!

While waiting for the rain to stop, Kean Heng sent me a message, saying that we could actually take shelter in the stadium. And so, we went in there and surprisingly, we were able to find him along with a few other photographers whom I've met before!

We waited till the rain stopped and went back outside to find Alice then go home. But before we left, I asked Ru to help take an OOTD shot and it was then we met Tee Lee and Swee Lee who took many many photos of us! Here's an entire blog post dedicated to their photos!

We shot for around 30 minutes while my sisters and Yen Nong waited at the entrance. When we finally got back together with them, Avery was carrying a full box of fans that she intended to bring home, and she did. So now we have dozens of Bon Odori fans in our house...

THE END!

Photo Shoot: We Found Love in a Hopeless Place - Unexpected Couple Shoot with Tan Tee Lee & Yin Swee Lee

Ru and wondering around on the field and he was helping me take a photo for my OOTD. Then, these 2 guys asked to take pictures of us. We posed a little and they started guiding and suggesting some more poses. One thing led to another, we started walking to different places to make pictures.

Big big thanks to these two for spending their time and effort in shooting our pictures.
Maybe I'll see them again someday.

THANK YOU
