6th January 2015 - Celebrating Shun Yee and Marilyn

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Here we are celebrating Shun Yee and Marilyn's birthday!
They don't have the same birthday by the way...
And we celebrated it long after their birthdays were over,
just to bring in the element of surprise!

We went to Inside Scoop at Taipan for the first time together. We went in 2 cars so that some of us could buy balloons and candles for the birthday girls. We got a blue a balloon for Shun Yee and a pink one for Marilyn.

Unlucky for us, we bought candles that can't be blown out. Worse, it's very difficult to move the candles off the waffles (substitute for their birthday cake). The candles would either burn us, or ruin the whole waffle and we had to pour water over them to get them extinguished.

So unless you're planning a joke,
DON'T GET CANDLES LIKE THESE.
Life lesson learnt.

As the "modern and young generation" we are, we proceeded with our rituals of taking countless photos of ourselves and of the food. Joy Ei and Allysa even spent more than 15 minutes taking photos of everyone's waffles. Yes, waffles. #INSTAGRAM

Junnie and I. This girl was somehow in the background of 50% of the selfies I took.

Shun Yee took these pics. She was using Velvet (my camera) a lot that evening.

Here's Joy Ei!

Thanks again, Shun Yee~

The professional waffle photographers, Joy Ei and Allysa.

Say 'Hi' to Pekky too!

Let's end our party with our family portrait.
I love these girls to bits!

What am I doing?
On our way to the car, Shun Yee though I looked cool in the ally,
so we had a mini 'photoshoot' with only a few pics after the waffles.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
That is all for this short and sweet blog post.
Till the next time, bye.

Photo Shoot: Barbie Doll with The New Photographer Club

The founder of The New Photographer Club, Cool Ty, found me on FaceBook. We reviewed a few of my looks, then decided to go with a Barbie theme at Class One Studio. Throughout the shoot, there were 4 outfit changes and each time I came out with a different outfit, the lighting changed too! It was a really fun shoot. All the photographers were really fast!
